Gift Card Scams

Scams asking people to make payments for taxes, bills, debt collection, etc. are becoming more and more common. The latest trend is asking the person to run to their local store to purchase iTunes gift cards and sharing the code on the back of the card with the collector. Apple Support has published a warning that iTunes gift cards can only be used to purchase goods and services from the iTunes store, App store, iBooks store, or Apple Music. Please use your iTunes gift cards responsibly, and avoid being the target of a scam!
