This year’s annual meeting will be held on September 18, 2013, at 5:30 PM at the Main Office of PFCU in Mountain Home, Idaho. We will report the state of the Credit Union and plans for the future as well as announce the results of the election for the Board of Directors. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided.
All elections shall be determined by plurality vote and shall be by ballot boxes or mail ballot except where there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. The special ballot boxes will be located in each of our branch offices beginning on September 8, 2013, at 9:00 AM and closing on September 12, 2013, at 5:00 PM, if applicable.

The absentee ballots will be made available and mailed on or near August 19, 2013. The ballots must be received back at the same address no later than September 16, 2013, at midnight.
This year we will be voting for three Board of Director positions. There will be no nominations from the floor at the annual meeting. The Nominating Committee will accept nominations by petition. Petitions for nominees must be received by 5:00 PM on August 9, 2013, and contain signatures from one percent (1%) of the membership. As of May 31, 2013, the membership count was 31,252. Therefore, members interested in being nominated by petition must obtain a minimum of 313 member signatures to be eligible. In addition, each nominee by petition must submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data accompanied by a signed certificate from the nominee indicating that they agree with the nomination and will serve if elected.
Robert Yalch - Director
Mr. Yalch retired from the USAF in 1979. For the next 23 years he worked for Master Electric, Inc. of Mountain Home as Bookkeeper/Office Manager--retiring in 2002. He holds a B.A. Degree in Management from Park College. He joined the Pioneer Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee in October 2002, and first served on the Board of Directors in 2006. Mr. Yalch resides in Mountain Home.
Stuart 'Stu' Friedman - Director
Mr. Friedman retired as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Sacramento, CA, Local 133 National Association of Letter Carriers in May 2005. He served 14 years on the Board of Directors of Sacramento District Postal Employees Credit Union and was chairman for 12 years. He served for 21 years on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Letter Carriers, including 10 years as Treasurer. He has served on the Board of Directors for Morning Sun Homeowner Association for five years and currently serves as the Treasurer. Mr. Friedman has resided in Twin Falls for 7 years.
Sue Rueger - Director
Mrs. Rueger is the Financial Counselor at the Airman & Family Readiness Center at Mountain Home Air Force Base. She received Idaho's Brightest Star Volunteer Award in 2004 for work with local schools and has provided financial literacy education to the local community teaching Credit When Credit is Due since 2003. Mrs. Rueger holds a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. Mrs. Rueger has resided in Mountain Home for 21 years.
