With myPioneer Online Banking, you are never far from Pioneer and your money. Whether it’s on your computer or through your smartphone, you can easily access your accounts, wherever you are.

With a simple interface, basic banking actions like checking balances, transferring money between accounts, and making credit card payments are easy. But did you know there is so much more to myPioneer online and mobile banking? We’ve got 5 tips to get the most out of our online banking platform.

Take Control of Your Budget

If you use a Pioneer debit or credit card for most or all of your expenses, it’s extremely easy to utilize. It categorizes your purchases into appropriate groups to show you where your money is going. If certain purchases are uncategorized, you can manually create a new category or put the vendor into an existing area. Even if you don’t use Pioneer cards often, you can add other accounts and cards to the Budget Manager to start tracking your expenses now.

Once you have a good understanding of where your money is currently going, use the Budget Manager to set limits in areas you would like to save. This can include food, luxury items, or any other items where spending can be reduced. Simply set limits within the different categories and create alerts that will let you know when you are close to, or reach, a set spending limit.

Check Your Balances Quickly with the Mobile App

Curious how much money is in your account, but don’t want to go through the hassle of logging in? You can set up your myPioneer Mobile Banking app to show you quick balances in a variety of ways.

The first way to see quick balances is to open up your app then swipe down from the top of the screen. You should see your current account balances. To enable quick balances, login to your myPioneer mobile banking app, go to Settings > Quick Balance > Current Device and turn it on.

If you have an android device, you can also set up a widget box that sits on one of your home screens to display your quick balances at all times. To do this, hold the app until options pop up and select the “Widgets” option.

For iPhone users, you can utilize 3D touch for quick balances. Just hold the app for a few seconds and a sub menu will pop up showing your balances on the top accounts listed in myPioneer. You can even set up quick transfers between accounts.

eDocuments to Save Paper and Time!

eDocuments is a great way to save paper and give you convenience. You get your monthly statements much more quickly, we store them for you digitally, and you can access them at any time. Plus, any important tax information you need from Pioneer will be stored there, too.

To sign up for eDocuments, access your myPioneer account, click on eDocuments, and agree to the terms and conditions.

Bill Pay to make Monthly Payments Simpler

Paying bills manually can take a good chunk of time, but it doesn’t need to. Bill Pay through myPioneer can ease the burden and even automate some payments. All you have to do is enter who you are paying and the amount you owe, and we’ll make sure it gets paid. Then, for future bills, all you need to do is select the person/business you are paying and add the amount and you’re done in a few minutes.

If you have a recurring bill that’s the same every month (like a cell phone payment or rent), you can set up Bill Pay to take care of it automatically. Just select that it is a recurring payment and the date you would like it paid. Bill Pay will send the check for you every month.

Use Your Rewards! Points

If you have a Pioneer debit or credit card and use it, you’re earning Rewards! points. You can redeem your points for a variety of things, from gift cards to amazing experiences. The fastest way to earn points is to use a Pioneer credit card (1 point for every $1 spent) which can quickly add up to some pretty amazing rewards!

To access your Rewards! account, login to myPioneer Online Banking in a web browser, click Additional Services, and PFCU Visa Rewards! You’ll be taken to the Rewards! website where you can see the points you’ve earned and browse through all the offers available to redeem your Rewards!
