Changes to Electronic Payments

We wanted to make you aware of a change regarding electronic payments, also known as ACH debits. On September 15, 2017, the Federal Reserve can process ACH debits the same day they are transacted. This means some of your payments may clear your account faster than before.

This change will be an industry standard and will result in a faster, more efficient ACH network. All financial institutions will be adjusting their electronic payment processing times to match the new standard.

Typical ACH debits include payments to utilities, credit card providers, health club fees, etc. Other forms of payment, such as paper checks written to merchants and debit cards from retailers that are linked to your checking account, may also process on the new schedule.

To avoid overdraft fees or insufficient funds, please make sure the available balance in your account will cover your transaction at the point of purchase. You can easily check your account balances on-the-go with the myPioneer Mobile App!

If you have any questions regarding this change, please visit our website or give us a call at (208) 587-3304.

Thank you for the opportunity to move your money forward!
